For those who compare recordings for the sound quality....

Does a vinyl Recording and a cd recording of the same album Have the same EQ if compared?

if you transfer a vinyl album to digital using usb, would it compare more to the vinyl recording sound or the digital?

just wondering.

It depends on the mastering and the EQ choices made by the mastering engineer.

I have found that some vinyl sounds "better" than a CD - and sometimes it sounds worse. Many people have said that when capturing vinyl recordings to digital on their own, that is somehow sounds better. I have experienced that. And then it may just be a placebo effect where one "thinks" it sounds better.
