Hi all,

Early on, A & M tapes were made by:

8-Tracks: International Tape Cartridge Corporation
Open Reel: Ampex Stereo Tapes
4-Track Cartridges: International Tape Cartridge Corporation and Muntz Stereo-Pak company.
Cassette: Some early titles were made by Ampex Stereo Tapes.

Aren't there also variations in the logo as to whether or not it contained the circle-R designation?

There were variations in circle-R's used within the A&M logo, where the "R" inside the circle was either serif or sans-serif. I.I.N.M., the serif "circle-R" dated back to early 1968.
