They typically recorded the bulk of their work in Studio B from 1969-1974 until Studio D was erected. From '74 on, "D" is typically where the bulk of the recording happened. The major exception to this was in 1971, where they utilized Studio A primarily for the bulk of the recording of Carpenters (aka The Tan Album).
As a rule of thumb, studios "A" and "C" were often (otherwise) used as rooms where they could overdub this or that when they couldn't get into the principal studio they'd been recording in during any given album production period. The same is true for Studio B during the 1971 period I mentioned, where they used "B" for a lot of the overdubbing when there were pockets of available time.
To help accurately identify the photographs above, you're correct in stating that photos #1 and #2 were taken in Studio B. However, the correct years are 1970 and 1972 respectively.
The remaining three photos were taken in Studio D.
