I've never seen this pic anywhere before. Is that Karen? Doesn't look like her, but who else could it be?

Yeah, it's Karen - and not a very flattering likeness. In most photos of Brasil '66, she has that "glam" image, an edge. Lani usually appeared to be seductive and subdued. In this one, it's Lani who has the upper hand - a bright smile across her face. Poor Karen is buried behind Sergio's shoulder with eyes crossed and a bewildered look on her face. Bless her heart. This is most unusual for her.

Then again, this was intended for a Latin market. I'm sure the brunette (in '60s terms) won out over the blonde. Had this been for Japan, Europe or Australia, Karen would have been the front girl. This seems to be consistent with most photos of Brasil '66 - depending, of course, on the particular market.
