If that truly was broadcast October 5th of 1966, then it was either a daytime show, like WHERE THE ACTION IS, THE MERV GRIFFIN SHOW, or something like that. If it was a prime time show, it had to be BOB HOPE on NBC. THE DANNY KAYE SHOW that evening actually had Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 on it.
The footage here is black & white, but that's not always indicative of whether or not it was broadcast in color. 1966 was the year that all prime time went color on all three networks.
There's no audience applause here, which may indicate that the tape was made on 10/5/66 as a video to distribute to a particular show, where they'd insert their own applause and host voice-over.
