I just received the July issue of DownBeat magazine and on page 22 there is a feature about former TJB bassist Pat Senatore discussing his new album Ascensione and his gig as musical director at Herb Alpert's Vibrato jazz club. Pat talks about his upbringing (he went to school with Wayne Shorter!), getting called to join Stan Kenton and meeting Herb, who also gives a few quotes about Pat.
