This is the sountrack for a film about the life and works of Composer Franz Liszt (1811-1885). The movie was written and directed by Ken Russell. Rick Wakeman, Roger Daltry and Ringo Starr were major music contributors.

LISZTOMANIA entered the Billboard Top 200 on November 8, 1975 and peaked at Number 145, charting for six weeks, according to Whitburn's "Top Pop Albums."

Reissued on CD in Russia as a two-for-one on A&M label (CDM 0600-460) with Wakeman's Charisma label album "1984." There are a total of 22 tracks.
The final ten are from the Charisma album (originally released June 1981):
