Since Richard's solo Christmas LP seems to be doomed to sit in the vault at A&M, do you think Richard would allow fans to download one song off of his website?
Many artists provide exclusive tunes available only to fans on their website. This would give Richard complete control of how and when the song is available. It would be a great holiday gift for the fans. Maybe it's just a pipe dream, but I would love to hear one of the finished tunes.
Or, maybe he could post the video clip of "Top of the world" he did in Japan a few years ago as a Christmas present? It's the one where a current Richard replaces the young Richard in the clip. If you have never seen it, it is spectacular. It shows Karen & Richard singing together. It's amazing!
Just some random hopes and dreams. The music of the Carpenters is very special to me around this time of the year. I guess I am always looking for more.....
