I just talked with Andre, our DJ who does the weekly Breakfast With The Beatles show, and he's notified me that he's included the "When You Wish Upon A Star" track that Herb did with Ringo Starr on that Stay Awake album of Disney songs put out by A&M in 1988. A week ago, I'd given Andre a copy of the track since he's such an avid Beatles fan and just loves this odd stuff.
So, after at least 8 years or so since going to a harder rock sound, Herb Alpert will once again show up on our station. Andre tells me that the track will air following the 9:40 AM commercial break on Sunday morning, January 26th. Local members (Philadelphia area) will find it at 102.9 FM -- sorry, no webcasts.
