Mike Smith posts regularly on Facebook in the "Karen Carpenter's Friends and Fans" group. I will ask him for a website. Glad you like the picture!

What makes this photo more realistic is that the artist left Karen's natural lines (or one could say pre mature lines due to her illness) around her mouth and didn't choose to airbrush her into something she wasn't. I'd love to see a really high resolution print of this photo.

Interesting. The second one could have been her 80's-90's soccer mom look.

Mid to late 70's she really liked to have a well coifed look for photo ops and TV.
