I remember buying my copy the day it came out at The Record Bar in the Cordoba (or was it University) Mall in Pensacola Florida where I was going through the Navy's Motion Picture/Television "C" School. I believe I also picked up Urgh!!! A Music War soundtrack at the same time. Without a doubt my favorite of the 1980s "new wave" bands and one of the most interesting in the LA scene at the time... Not a bad song on this!

I liked the running theme of pics from psych ward inmates decorating some of their album artwork.

Boingo had quite a run, and their more cinematic side fortold Elfman's involvement in soundtrack work.

We just saw Oz, The Great & Powerful this weekend. Danny Elfman scored that one, too. Even before I saw the music credit I whispered to Mrs. Bill, "Sounds like Danny Elfman, doesn't it?" I loved the movie, BTW, but Mrs. Bill thought it was okay and one of my coworkers HATED it. I recommend IMAX 3D if you can manage it.
