Top of the World 2009?

Has anyone heard if there will be a "Top of the World" fund raiser this year at CSULB? I can't find any mention of it on the CSULB website.

Hi All,

Received an update e-mail from CPAC : There is no 2009 "TOP OF THE WORLD" GALA planned for either traditional March period or later in the year

Probably after 6 TOTW's 2003-2008 : time for a change for both CPAC & Richard / Family :|

Great news is that to celebrate CPAC's 15th Anniversary : special concerts & other events are planned for September 2009

Details are being finalised & will probably be announced by May 2009 ....so watch out for more details.....

Ideally Richard will perform CPAC full concert with Band, CSULB Choir & Orchestra plus probably some guest performers aside from Mindi & Colin Paul ( rare event recently)....it would be ideal time to preview new Christmas & other original material before planned Autumn / Fall Album releases

Something to look forward towards ......

I am surprised that have not scheduled TOTW this year. It was quite a big fund raiser for their Arts & education program at the Carpenter Center.

Probably time for change or one year without TOTW Galas ....CPAC progammes for Education & Music will continue as Richard & Carpenter family will support via Carpenters Foundation

Also with Richard's 2009 schedule , probably September 2009 was best period to hold CPAC 15th Aniv celebrations .....Richard is likely to be promoting various projects October / November 2009 in USA, Japan , UK & Europe .....
