Why is the Vinyl box set so cheap now?

i was on eBay and saw the price had come down and I got a sealed box for $75 not including shipping. Seller has multiple copies. There is another seller selling sealed sets for $65 free shipping.

Is this too good to be true or was this released? Price from amazon is back to $100 something.

I’m confused as I thought the set would never get a rerelease.

I don't think it is a reissue given the negative issues it has to be the same box set as originally issued being resold at a lower price I may be wrong but that's my guess someone must have bought several units with the purpose of reselling them

Probably because the quality of the product is so poor and the reviews are so bad.

The first time I’ve ever bought a Carpenters box set that I really wanted but was forced to return because of poor quality. So sad and worse they never really corrected the wrong. No trust = won’t buy again.

I wonder if these are all faulty sets resealed

I really doubt if a company would reseal bad albums to sell again.

True. When ur arrives hopefully it’s a good copy. It’s hit or miss with this.

I received some bad copies when it was first released. I sent them back and got new, beautiful albums.

I hope they send replacements because I got my set on eBay for 78.

Do you know how long it takes to get replacements? Thanks!
