I Know My First Name Is Stephen
I used to know what it was about. I tried to remember but, guess I lost it, guess I lost it….
That wraps me up and really puts me away.

All Because Of You, I can’t listen to this song anymore. That wraps me up and really puts me away.
Won’t you tell me you’ll forgive me?I'll pardon the things you said.
Ed
Of course. I just like the way you post so much.Won’t you tell me you’ll forgive me?
Ok Ed, you win. Now I’m blushing….Of course. I just like the way you post so much.

Meaning…LESS! The changes are amazing and I love the arrangement but yeah…bad lyric. Karen sells it well tho.Bringing this back to the song and some of the lyrics...they really were meaningless.
I really don't mean to stare
I was only trying to memorize you there
You know I meant no harm
It's just that the starlight in your eye
Gave me a chill, nearly made me cry
I'm sure it's very clear
I don't mean to intrude
It's just that I don't want to break this mood
And if I hold your hand it's just 'cause
There's something in the things you say
That wraps me up and really puts me away
But everybody knows
I don't know what's goin' down
You're gonna ruin this poor girl from out of town
I like the way you move so much that
I guess I just lost my head
Meaning…LESS! The changes are amazing and I love the arrangement
As plausible as any scenario I’ve ever heard. Let’s go with it.I always kind of imagined it as a woman on a business trip out of town, in a bar, checking out some dude, then flirting with him and picking him up (we really don’t know each other and should know better, but you’re hot and let’s hook up, in other words….)
I imagined it as about when Anne Boleyn met Henry VIII.I always kind of imagined it as a woman on a business trip out of town, in a bar, checking out some dude, then flirting with him and picking him up (we really don’t know each other and should know better, but you’re hot and let’s hook up, in other words….)

Thanks for the information regarding the Mook. I will make an effort to find a translator, perhaps in the Languages Department of a University. Nice to know that it is not out of reach, in so far as not encountering legal issues. The Mook is a fascinating 'historical' document, and I would like...forum.amcorner.com

I've always liked the lyrics! It's got a definite vibe. Sorta like, 'Don't mind me, I just think you're sexy and I can't stop looking at you'. It's certainly a different approach from something like, 'Bright-colored pinwheels go 'round in my head, I run through the mists of the wine'. : )There are all sorts of key changes going on in this song, it's really quite clever and a shame it didn't have a better lyric.

Happens to me on every post. I haven't been able to get Michael Jackson's Rock With You out of my head since page 6 (and that's a good thing)And, now, '(A Place To) Hideaway' is stuck in my head.

And every time I see that song title I can't help debating with myself whether Hideaway should be one word or two...is it the place or the act? And, now, '(A Place To) Hideaway' is stuck in my head.

So, to hide away is to seek a place of seclusion..Grammatically it's incorrect. In that sentence it's the act, not the noun. You wouldn't say I need to hideaway. You'd hide_away in a hideaway.
