Very sad news. Richard has lost so many key people and pioneers from his and Karen’s career. There weren’t many more important than Jerry Moss. This must be pretty depressing for him.

And there goes another one…just reminds us how all the people in the music business we know and love are all slowly dying off. I mean, Jerry lived a long life, but still, I’m sure it’s very sad for everyone who knew him. I’m going to see Herb and Lani live next month…I can only imagine how he has been affected by this…..

Such sad news. As has already been mentioned, Jerry Moss changed all of our lives....for the better! Thanks, Jerry, for your amazing lifelong work to bring us some of the best music ever recorded. What a tremendous legacy!

Richard and Mary attended Jerry's funeral last Friday and were sorry they missed Herb—who was not in attendance due to his prior commitment w/The Grand Ole Opry.

In terms of the much less glamorous but critical business side of growing a record company, Jerry was invaluable to Carpenters' and other groups successes.

I will be seeing Herb and Lani in KC next month and can't wait. It is important to treasure these people while we have them.
