Dear Mendes Fans,

Not quite up to date, in fact 23 years ago but nice too see, a tv rehearsal for Dutch Television with in front Geof Gillette (in the brown suit), Sergio’s long time touring and recording engineer.
Just behind Geof Gillette a young Carol Rogers with Marietta Waters at her left and Gracinha at her right.
Right of Gracinha is drummer Alan Diaz (at the time a couple with Marietta) and Oscar Castro Neves the then 40 years old guitarist and a ten years Brasil member and Ron Powell the percussionist (currently with Kenny G.).
At the far left is Danny Embrey, guitarist. Sergio and bassist Warren Giancatarina are not visible.

Gee, Gracinha kind of looks like Lani standing back there, doesn't she? Kind of reminds me of the way Lani looked on the cover of Stillness. Of course, there's the lovely Carol Rogers and my favorite Mendes singer of all time (next to Karen Philipp!), Miss Marietta Waters!!
