This must be a "carry-over project" that just had commercial potential outside the Far East that it took British producer Robin Cable to doctor up & a label like A&M to have had the interest & capital to invest, while whether or not the outcome of this was having the potential to sell, the rest is just history...!

This was one of several records released in an arrangement with Japan's Alfa Records (similar to what A&M did with Australia's Mushroom Records). As far as I know YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra) was the most successful of these releases and the only act to garner a second (and third) release...
