Al Hirt did a version that sounded just like the commercial.

I like it best even though it was very short. The Brass Ring did a nice record on it too.

I didn't kow Herb played it. I think he should stay away from copying the copy-cats. He set the pace for all those others.

I think the reason for including it in the concerts was the fact that the song was so popular, and that everyone associated it with the TJB that it was a natural...and; everybody involved, Herb, Mike and Al each got a big publicity boost from it. And, whoever wrote it really raked in the bucks...
