This one is difficult to find information for. Bombers were a short-lived band that had a dance club hit with the A-side of this 12-incher, but their records otherwise didn't make much of an impression on the charts. Perhaps this could qualify as an underground hit?

One notable member of Bombers is bassist Michael "Busta" Jones, who in his teens work with bluesman Albert King's touring band. He was in lesser-known bands and worked briefly in the UK with Brian Eno until this became a minor hit (playing bass, providing vocals, and co-authoring this track), then went on to play bass with Talking Heads, ending up on their Remain in Light Tour and their first live album, The Name of This Band is Talking Heads. He also appeared with Gang of Four and The Ramones.
