CSU Long Beach choir

Just thought I would share this. I am at the national American choral directors association conference in Cincinnati. I am president elect for the southwest region, which includes Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico.

Attended a performance of the California State University Long Beach chamber choir. Was really, really good. And it was kind of fun hearing a Choir from the University, the Karen and Richard had attended.

I didn’t, but am hoping to meet the director at sone point. Have connected on fb but not in person yet

I saw some at the airport and them how awesome the choir was.

I did message the director and also said I was a huge carpenters fan. He said next time in town he would take me to the archives.

I wonder if some or a lot of the young choir members are familiar with the music of Carpenters...
