It would be fun to hear about some of the nuts and bolts of why release dates get changed. Sometimes the music just isn't finished yet, but often it's in consideration of tour dates or the artist's availability for promotional activities, other releases hitting the market, and so on. Or maybe they just feel that a Herb Alpert release is better for spring/summer than fall/winter.
