I know that a&m corner has done threads on all of the Carpenters' albums....have there ever been threads on each single in order, and people's thoughts, memories, etc.?

Just a thought.

Jonathan

Not that I can recall.

So...go ahead and START something! We love new thread ideas! :)

For starters, here's the list of Billboard Charted Top 100 singles in ascending order of popularity (biggest hits at bottom):

01	20	Top Of The World

The fascinating thing about that list is that it is vaguely chronological. There are a few exceptions here and there, but for the most part each single's popularity depends on when it was released. The singles from 1970 are at the very bottom; the singles from 1981 are at the very top.

David, once again your site has been most helpful.....but I have some questions....for anyone who knows the answers..... :)

Since I know that it will never be released, I am making my own set of CDs with the Singles and the "b" sides......the originals......

I actually have most of the CD compilations or studio albums that would have most of the songs on them. I am missing the following and would like to know if they are found anywhere (that I might have missed) or if they are not even released on CD....and if anyone knows where there are mp3 that might be floating around....

Ticket to Ride (without long piano intro)
Your Wonderful Parade (single version)
I Kept on Loving You (without fade in...)
Yesterday Once More
I Won't Last a Day without You
Please Mr. Postman
Calling Occupants...
Make Believe Its your First Time (without Karen talking at the beginning)
Look to you Dreams

Thanks for any help
Jonathan
