Where can I find the Austrailan release of the Carpenters called Startrax.

I thinks its the only CD that has the older remixes of songs that is still avaliable.

If I'm not mistake, Startrax is now out of print. An Australian series, related to the Japanese Gold Series, Startrax boasted "over 60 minutes of music" as their banner line.

Carpenters Startrax featured a few remixes:

Superstar
Rainy Days And Mondays
Reason To Believe
Love Is Surrender

and at the time, a brand new remix of "It's Going To Take Some Time." Personally, I never cared for that remix - the redone piano sounds too out of place.

The album also featured the single version of "Top Of The World" as well as the re-done version of "Ticket To Ride."

Thanks for your replies. According to cduniverse.com and cdconnections.com they are in stock. I went ahead and ordered it because they had only 1 left. I ordered it and it said that it would be there in about 5 days.

I got this cd years ago in New Zealand.

I agree with you Harry, I'm not too keen on this version of 'Its Going to take some time' on here, I much prefer the original.

A nice collection of songs though.

I just listened to it and it sounds great
Too bad it doesn't sound as good as The Essential Collection
