Does anyone know if Carpenters covered "What the World Needs Now"? I was on another forum and someone mentioned they heard the Carpenters version of "What the World Needs Now" I have looked all over anc can not find it anywhere.

It shows up from time to time on P2P sites. I've downloaded it and it turned out to be mislabled. It was actually Jackie DeShannon's version.
